Susan Goodier is Lecturer of History at SUNY Oneonta and specializes in U.S Women’s activism from 1840 to 1920. She will speak on Hester Jeffrey, a suffragist and political activist who organized the WCTU (Women’s Christian Temperance Union) in Rochester, as well as the National Association of Colored Women’s clubs. In addition, Jeffrey was friend to and eulogist of Susan B Anthony.
