Summer Camp at the Granger Homestead & Carriage Museum: A Journey Through Time!

Step into the past and experience history like never before at our Summer Camp at the Museum! Each day is filled with hands-on activities, interactive storytelling, and exciting adventures that bring history to life.

 Welcome Day – Get to know your fellow time travelers as we explore the museum, play historic games, and prepare for the adventures ahead!

 Hearth and Home Day – Discover how families lived in the past! Try your hand at old-fashioned cooking, brick-making, and home crafts as we explore daily life from long ago.

 History Mystery Day – Put on your detective hats and unravel the secrets of the past! Solve puzzles, decode historical clues, and uncover hidden stories within the museum.

 A Day for Earning Your Keep – Step into the shoes of an 1800s child! Experience what it was like to have chores that produced products for sale such as potholders, candles, and butter. 

 Pantomime Day – Lights, camera, history! Express yourself through historic storytelling and theater as we bring legends and tales to life with costumes, props, and plenty of fun!

Join us for a summer of discovery, creativity, and unforgettable moments at the Granger Homestead & Carriage Museum Summer Camp—where history is more than just stories, it’s an adventure!

July 14th-18th, 9am-12pm. Geared for ages 8-12.

Come enjoy a week filled with something new each day, come for 1 day or come for all! $20 per day. Snack provided. Pre-registration is required.
